Everyone has that inner creative side to them.

 

Some people are highly expressive and create bold and beautiful artwork all by themselves. Others are a little more reserved and may need some coaching and encouragement to wake up and bring that artist to the surface. In the end, it doesn’t matter how or what you do to warm-up those creative juices.

Come on out and join with other artists.

 

We share ideas, techniques and a few stories as we each develop our individual projects. All mediums and skill levels are welcome.

Once a month we meet to chat and give advice on your art piece but only if you wish. 

​

We bring in guest artists for instructions bimonthly. We are a non-profit group, so we share equally in the cost of the instructor.

 

Marsh Street Artists meet Tuesday mornings in the main auditorium of the Centre. Bring your own art and reference materials for your independent project. 

Marsh Street Artist’s work is displayed for sale on the walls of the Centre, with 10% of the sales returned to help support the Centre with its many projects. We also enter our work in shows at the L.E. Shore library.

When: Tuesdays, 9:00am - 1:00pm. No Session on holidays. 

Where: Marsh Street Centre Auditorium

Admission: Annual fee $30, plus weekly rental fee of $15.

What to expect: 

• A relaxed, casual, nurturing environment with space to create your art 

• Encouragement from our artist community 

• Ideas and hints to help with your work

• An opportunity to showcase your artwork on the walls of the Marsh Street Centre. Perhaps sell artwork as well.
